Repair Bench Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026 (version 1.1.1)

Repair Bench is a game by BIRIM AJANS YAZILIM LIMITED SIRKETI. You can play without creating an account or giving your name or email. From version 1.1.1 the game also has optional online features (invites, friends, gifts and a weekly league); they are described below.

Data stored on your device

Game progress (coins, gems, levels, upgrades, daily tasks), settings, language choice, purchase transaction identifiers and cached purchase entitlements are stored locally. For the online features the device also keeps your random player ID, its secret key, your friend code and the IDs of rewards already applied. Removing the app normally removes this local data.

Analytics and crash diagnostics

Release versions may use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to process app interactions, app-instance and device information, and crash diagnostics. We use this information to understand tutorial and repair completion and to fix faults. We do not place names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, microphone recordings or game text into analytics events.

Optional rewarded advertising

Google Mobile Ads is contacted only when advertising is enabled for the release. A rewarded video is optional and the repair loop remains playable without it. Where required, Google's consent form is shown before ads can be requested and an in-app privacy choices entry remains available. Google may process device identifiers, IP-derived information, ad interactions and diagnostics according to the choices and law that apply to you.

Purchases

Apple or Google processes payment for optional in-app purchases (gem packs, one-time packs such as Workshop Supporter) and the optional auto-renewing VIP Pass subscription. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, store transactions, subscription status and entitlement status so purchases can be delivered, restored, renewed, refunded or revoked. Subscriptions are managed or cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings. We do not receive your payment card details.

Online features: invites, friends, gifts and league

When the game starts it registers with our own game server (oyun.birimajans.com, and oyun.164.92.212.139.sslip.io as its fallback address), which we run on a DigitalOcean server in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The server creates a random player ID, a secret key and a six-character friend code for you. No account, email address, real name, contacts or location is sent.

The server stores: your random player ID and friend code; a one-way hash of a device identifier (on iOS a random ID kept in the device keychain, on Android the Android ID), hashed on the device and hashed again on the server, used only to prevent invite-reward abuse; your platform (iOS or Android) and game version; game numbers (level, total earnings, total customers, decorations you own, weekly league score and tier); your optional nickname; friendships, gifts and invite connections between players and the rewards they created; and nickname reports. It also keeps daily totals of events such as "invite shared", without player IDs.

Who can see it: your nickname and game numbers are shown to players who are your friends in the game (a friendship is created when one of you enters the other's friend code or opens their invite link), and your nickname is shown on your invite page to anyone who opens your invite link. Other players in your weekly league group see your score with a masked code, not your nickname. The share card you can create shows your level, league tier, weekly earnings, friend code and link, never your nickname.

Nicknames are optional (3 to 16 characters). Nicknames with contact details, links, long number sequences or offensive words are rejected, and a nickname reported by two different players is removed automatically. You can remove a friend at any time; gifts and visits work only between friends. There is no chat.

On iOS, if you are signed in to Game Center, your weekly earnings and total customers are submitted to Apple Game Center leaderboards under Apple's privacy policy. On Android, the Google Play Install Referrer is read once to pick up an invite code from an invite link.

IP addresses are used only in memory to limit request rates; our web server logs store IP addresses shortened (IPv4 to the first two parts) and never store your player key. Log files are rotated by size.

Retention and deletion: online data is kept while the online features are operated; there is no automatic deletion period yet. Uninstalling the app does not delete it from the server. You can clear your nickname at any time (Friends, Invite tab: empty the nickname field and save) and remove a friend from their visit screen in the Friends tab. To delete all online data linked to you, email aydin@birimajans.com with the friend code shown in the Friends panel; we then delete your player record together with its friendships, gifts, rewards and league entries.

Sharing, retention and children

We use the processors above to operate, measure and support the app; we do not sell personal information. Provider retention depends on their configured service and legal requirements. Repair Bench is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children for personal information.

Your choices

You can decline an optional ad, review ad privacy choices where required, disable device-level advertising permissions, or uninstall the app to remove local progress. Store purchases are managed through your Apple or Google account. For privacy questions, deletion of your online data or any request concerning data that can reasonably be linked to you, contact aydin@birimajans.com.
